Lucknow University Registration Number (LURN) Generation System:
It is mandatory for applicants aspiring for admission in University of Lucknow or any College/Institute affiliated with University of Lucknow, to generate their Lucknow University Registration Number (LURN) through LURN Generation System available on Admission Page of Lucknow University.
- Admission through Direct/Offline Mode in affiliated Colleges/Institutes
Every candidate who wants to take admission in any college affiliated to University of Lucknow, it is mandatory for applicant to get their LURN generated. He shall submit his/her LURN to college for confirmation his admission.
Instructions to Apply Online for LURN for Session 2024-25
Generation of Lucknow University Registration Number (LURN)
- To generate LURN the applicant will have to fill the LURN form available at the Admission Page of Lucknow University website through the URL https://lurn.lkouniv.ac.in/app Applicant will have to fill the following details in the LURN Form:

After filling details in all respective fields, click on Submit button.
- Once the form is filled and submitted the applicant will receive an OTP on the registered mobile.
- After entering the OTP the applicant will be redirected to pay the Registration Fee of Rs. 100/- through online mode.
- To pay the fee, read the declaration, select the declaration checkbox and click on Submit & Proceed to Pay Fee.
- Once the fee is paid, Lucknow University Registration Number (LURN) will be generated and shared with the applicant through SMS & Email, and will be made available on their dashboard too.
- Applicants are advised to check the details filled in the LURN Form and edit the required details, if needed, by clicking on Edit Application.
- Applicant can download and print LURN Form and Fee Payment Receipt.
- Applicant applying for different colleges/ courses can use the same LURN for filling the separate admission form.
Note:-
- 1. Login
- If under any circumstances the login session terminates/expires after submission of the LURN form then applicant can login and complete further formalities from where they had left.
- To login, click on Login button; fill relevant Aadhaar No. & Date of Birth in respective fields and click on Verify button.
- Thereafter, registered Mobile No./Email ID will be verified through One Time Password. Once the verification is done, applicant will be redirected to the particular step, from where they can continue further.
- 2. SMS & Email alerts will be sent to applicants at all necessary steps.

- (3) ऑनलाइन आवेदन पत्र जमा करने हेतु निर्देश:
- आवेदन पत्र जमा करने के लिए सभी अभ्यार्थियों को सर्वप्रथम महाविद्यालय की वेबसाइट पर स्वयं को पंजीकृत करना होगा पंजीकरण की इस प्रक्रिया में ऑनलाइन आईडी एवं पासवर्ड तथा आपके अकाउंट का निर्माण होगा। आवेदन शुल्क रु 850/- मात्र हैं जिसका भुगतान ऑनलाइन ( क्रेडिट कार्ड, डेबिट कार्ड, यू.पी.आई. अथवा नेट बैंकिंग द्वारा ) किया जाना है।
- सभी आवेदकों को लखनऊ विश्वविद्यालय की वेबसाइट के माध्यम से लखनऊ विश्वविद्यालय पंजीकरण संख्या (LURN) प्राप्त करना आवश्यक है। बिना LURN के किसी भी आवेदक को पाठयक्रम में प्रवेश नहीं दिया जाएगा।
- ऑनलाइन आवेदन 15 अप्रैल 2024 से किए जाने है।
टिप्पणी: आवेदन शुल्क का भुगतान
किए जाने के बाद किसी को किसी भी स्थिति में वापस
नहीं किया जाएगा।
- (3) Online Application Form Submission
- Applicants are required to register themselves through the college website (A login ID and password will be created). The application fees is Rupees Eight hundred and fifty only (Rs.850.00) which has to be remitted online (Payment options: Credit card / Debit card/Net Banking, UPI).
- All candidates are required to get Lucknow University Registration Number (LURN) generated through Lucknow University Website. No candidate will be given admission in any course without LURN.
- The Online Application can be made from 15th of April 2024.
NOTE: THE APPLICATION FEE ONCE PAID WILL NOT BE REFUNDED IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
- (4) प्रवेश हेतु अर्हता:
वे सभी अभ्यर्थी जिन्होंने की इंटरमीडिएट अथवा उसके समकक्ष परीक्षा उतीर्ण कर ली है अथवा इस परीक्षा में सम्मिलित हुए थे किंतु परिणाम घोषित होने की प्रतीक्षा में है (इनको वेदन की अंतिम तिथि से पूर्व अपनी इंटरमीडिएट की अंक तालिका अपलोड करनी होगी), बी. ए., बी. एस. सी. (बायो एवं गणित वर्ग) एवं बी.कॉम के प्रथम सेमेस्टर में प्रवेश हेतु आवेदन करने हेतु अर्ह हैं।
जिन अभ्यर्थियों का परिक्षा परिणाम किसी भी प्रकार से अपूर्ण है या कम्पार्टमेन्ट है तो उन्हें एक शपभ देना होगा कि यदि उन्हें प्रवेश लेने हेतु आमंत्रित किया जाता है, तो प्रवेश के समय अपना उत्तीर्ण परीक्षा परिणाम जमा करना होगा, ऐसा न करने पर उनका प्रवेश हेतु अधिकार स्वतः समाप्त हो जाएगा.
प्रवेश के इच्छुक सभी अभ्यर्थियों का इंटरमीडिएट अथवा समकक्ष परीक्षा वर्ष 2024, 2023,2022, 2021 एवं 2020 में उ्तीर्ण करना अनिवार्य है

- (4) Eligibility For Admission
Candidates who have passed Intermediate or equivalent examination or whose results are awaited (will have to upload mark sheet before the last date.) are eligible to apply for admission in Semester-1 of B.A., B.Sc. (Bio & Maths) and B.Com. for the academic session 2024-25
Candidates awaiting their Intermediate results or those who have compartment/ incomplete intermediate result may be allowed to apply on the condition that they will submit an affidavit that if they are selected, they will produce the pass result at the time of admission, failing which their claim to admission shall automatically stand cancelled.
All candidates seeking admission should have passed Intermediate or equivalent in 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021 or 2020
Gap Cerficate: If there is gap in taking admission after Intermediate (10+2), then an affidavit (certified by the Notary on Rs. 10.00 Stamp paper) has to be submitted at the time of admission

प्राप्तांको के न्यूनतम प्रतिशत से कम
होने पर आवेदन पत्र निरस्त माना जाएगा।
Non-fulfillment of the above mentioned requirement of minimum marks shall result in rejection of the application form.
- नोट : बी.कॉम परीक्षा में प्रवेश हेतु निम्न में से किसी एक का होना अनिवार्य है
- (a): यदि अभ्यर्थी ने कला विषय के साथ इंटर की परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण की है तो अर्थशास्त्र उनमें से एक विषय के रूप में होना अनिवार्य है।
- (b): अभ्यार्थी ने विज्ञान विषय के साथ इंटर परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण की है तो गणित का उनमें से एक विषय होना अनिवार्य है।
- (c): विज्ञानं विषय गणित के साथ उत्रिन करना आवयशक है ।
इंटरमीडिएट अथवा समकक्ष परीक्षा में प्राप्ताकों का आकलन करने हेतु अभ्यर्थी के श्रेष्ठ पांच सम्बंधित विषयों के प्राप्ताकों का संज्ञान लिया जाएगा यह विशेष रूप से उन बोर्ड संस्थाओं के संदर्भ में लागू होगा जोकि प्राप्त अंकों का योग अंकतालिका पर अंकित नहीं करते हैं।
यदि कोई अभ्यर्थी एक से अधिक कक्षा में आवेदन करने
के इच्छुक हैं तो उसे हर विषय/कक्षा हेतु अलग आवेदन पत्र भरना होगा।
नोट : जीव विज्ञान विषय के साथ इंटरमीडिएट परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करने वाले अभ्यर्थी बीकॉम में प्रवेश हेतु अर्ह नहीं है।
- Note: For Admission In B.Com (Sem-I) Candidate Should Either Be:
- (a): Commerce Intermediate
- (b): Arts Intermediate with Economics as one of the subjects.
- (c): Science Intermediate with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
For Ascertaining the minimum marks obtained in Intermediate or equivalent examination, as well as for the preparation of merit, of those examination boards/councils that do not provide grand total of marks, the percentage will be calculated on the basis of the marks obtained in best of five subjects.
A candidate applying for more than one course will need to fill separate application form and pay fees for each course separately.
Note: Candidates who have passed intermediate exam with biology as a subject are not eligible for admission to B.Com. course.

- (5) अर्ह अभ्यर्थियों को उनकी मेरिट के आधार पर प्रवेश दिया जाएगा। अभ्यर्थियों के इंटरमीडिएट अथवा समकक्ष परीक्षा में प्राप्त अंको के योग के साथ उनके श्रेणी लाभांक (जिनके लिए वे अर्ह होंगे) को जोड़ कर जो योग आएगा उसे अभ्यर्थियों का “मेरिट इंडेक्स” कहा जाएगा मेरिट इंडेक्स के आधार पर सभी अभ्यर्थियों की सूची महाविद्यालय के नोटिस बोर्ड अथवा महाविद्यालय की वेबसाइट पर उपलब्ध कर दी जाएगी अभ्यर्थियों को स्वयं ही इसको देखना होगा सभी अभ्यर्थियों को व्यक्तिगत रुप से सूचना प्रदान करने का दायित्व महाविद्यालय का नहीं होगा।
- (5) Eligible Candidates Will Be Admitted According To Their Merit Calculated On The Basis Of Aggregate Of Marks Obtained By Him/her In Intermediate Or An Equivalent Examination Plus The Privilege Marks As Per His/her Eligibility, This Total Will Be Known As “Merit Index”. The Merit Index Will Be Displayed In The College Notice Board And The College Website Simultaneously. The College Will Not Notify The Candidates Individually. It Will Be The Responsibility Of The Candidate To Check His/her Merit.
- (6) काउंसलिंग/प्रवेश अधिसूचित तिथियों से “प्रथम आवत प्रथम प्राप्त” आधार पर किया जाएगा किसी भी दशा में किसी भी अभ्यर्थी के लिए सीट रोकने का प्रावधान नहीं है।

As per the latest notification of Lucknow University regarding admissions to M.A. English course the minimum eligibility is as Follows: –
1. Graduate with English in final year with minimum marks 45% for General and OBC and 40% SC/ST.
2. In case the candidate seeks admission in the subject which he/she has studied in any of the three years of graduation the eligibility will be minimum 45% of marks.
3. In case the candidate seeks admission in the subject which he/she has not studied in any year of graduation, eligibility will be minimum 50% of marks.

- Admission for the I smester of academic session 2024-25 is open for both boys and girls for M.A.(English) & M.Sc. (Chemistry).
- Application for admission to the first semester of M.A. (English) and M.Sc. (Chemistry) for Academic Session 2024-25 can be submitted online as well as offline.

- (1) Venue: Respective Departments
- (2) Admissions to the above courses will be on the basis of merit only. There shall be no Entrance Test.
- * In case of M.A. English the admission will be granted strictly on the basis of merit but on first come first serve basis. An interview will be conducted every Saturday for the candidates, who will apply during that week, by the committee appointed by the Principal and the admission will be granted immediately to successful candidates till all seats are full. As soon as the seats are full the application process will be stopped.
- * In case of M.Sc. Chemistry merit list will be displayed on 22 June, 2024 on the college website and the college notice boards. The Counselling date for admission will be notified thereafter.
- NOTE: : Any change in the dates and time mentioned above will be communicated through the college notice board and college website.
- (i) Original marksheets of High School, Intermediate or equivalent examination and Bachelor’s Degree.

- (b.) Selected candidates will be issued a fee- receipt, his/her Identity Card and College Roll No. by the admission committee. Non- payment of fee within time, shall result in the cancellation of admission
- (c.) All information related to admissions will be put up on the College Notice Board and college web-site. The college will not be responsible for notifying any candidate individually.
- 4. FEES FOR THE SESSION 2024-25
- Selected candidates will be required to pay the fee (which is non-refundable) within the specified time duration only in the form of a crossed Bank Draft/ Banker’s Cheque issued by any of the nationalised banks in favour of “Principal, Lucknow Christian Degree College” payable at Lucknow. No cash or personal cheques will be accepted.
- NOTE: : Enrolment fees of Rs. 1000/- will be charged from Graduates of Universities other than Lucknow University.
- 5. PRIVILEGE
- Christian minority candidates will be admitted as per reservation policy form their Merit List. In order to be considered for admission under this category the applicant must submit photocopies of the following at the time of submitting his/her application form
- (i) Baptism Certificate
- (ii) Church Membership Certificate from the Pastor of the Church of which he/she is a member.

Online Application Form for admission is available on our college website: www.lcdc.edu.in. The total fees for online form is Rs. 1,550/- (Rs. One thousand Five Hundred and Fifty only). The payment can be made through any of the methods detailed in the instructions available on the Website. The online application form for admission can be submitted from May 1, 2024 till July 22, 2024.
The offline admission forms for B.P.Ed. Sem-I Classes will be available from May 1, 2024 till July 22, 2024 on a payment of Rs 1,550/- (One Thousand Five Hundred and Fifty only) on all working days from 10:00 am to 02:00 pm from the College Office. The completed application forms for B.P.Ed. Semester-I will be accepted between the dates and time mentioned above.
- Note: The Application Form once issued will not be taken back and no refund of any fees paid towards Prospectus or Entrance Test will be made in any circumstances.

(8) Provisionally selected candidates will have to Report for Medical Test on 31 July, 2024 at 10:00 am. Clearance in Medical examination is a MUST for admission in all categories.
Medical examination Fee: Rs. 300/- (to be paid in Cash at the time of Medical Examination). - (9) After successful completion of medical examination, the candidate has to submit the required fee through demand draft in favour of ‘Principal, Lucknow Christian Degree College, Lucknow.’ as per the fee structure provided in the prospectus (Rs. 24,510.00/- for Male candidates and Rs. 24,348.00/- for Female candidates). An additional Enrollment fee of 500/-will be charged from the candidates who are graduates from universities other than the University of Lucknow.
- (10) Wait listed candidates should report on 3 Aug, 2024 at 10.00 am. The admission of the wait listed candidates will be done on the availability of seats if any and strictly on merit basis and clearance in medical examination.

- (12) Entrance Test Fees
- (a) Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 50% marks and having at least participation in the Inter-College/Inter- Zonal/District/School competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India..
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with 45% marks
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 50% marks and should have studied physical education as compulsory/ elective subject.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 45% marks and having participated in National/Inter- University/State competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in Inter College/Inter Zonal/District/School competition in sports a n d games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India.
- Bachelor’s Degree with participation in international competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in National/Inter-University competition in sports and games as recognized by respective federations/ AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India.
- Graduation with 45% marks and at least three years of teaching experience (for deputed in-service candidates i.e. trained physical education teachers/coaches).
- (B) The upper age limit is 25 years as on 1st July, 2024, (Born on or after 1st July, 1999) which will be relaxed for B.P.Ed.-1st Semester course by five years only for Christian Candidates (Candidates must produce the relevant certificate from the Pastor of the Church)
- Note: Candidates who have appeared in any of the B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./or any other graduate examinations and whose result has not been declared, may apply for admission and if selected they will be given provisional admission and they will have to produce their original mark sheet along with its photocopy on or before cut-off date announced by the College. Failing to produce original marks sheet on or before the cut-off date will lead to cancellation of provisional admission automatically.

- (13) ENTRANCE TEST:
- All candidates who have applied online and offline are required to appear in B. P. Ed. Semester-I Entrance Test at their own expense. They should download and bring their admit card at the time of their entrance test. This test includes Skill test, Physical Fitness test and marks of Games Representation and Interview. Appropriate sports dress is a MUST for skill test and Physical Fitness Test. Civil dress is allowed for interview.
- (a) Skill Test: (20 Marks)
- Skill test will be conducted on anyone of the games listed herein (Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Football, Gymnastics, Handball, Hockey, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and Volleyball). The candidate has to select one game from this list.

- (i) International Participation: One who has represented the national team in a Recognized International competition of a particular game.
- (ii) Senior National Level: One who has represented the state teams in Senior National Championship of a particular game.
- (iii) Inter-University Level: One who has represented the University team in All India/Zonal Inter University Tournaments.
- (iv) Inter-Collegiate Level: One who has represented the college team in Inter -collegiate competition of the respective University.

(d) Interview:(20 Marks)
The interview is to assess personality, subject knowledge, teaching potential and expression as a student- teacher. Candidates must bring all Certificates in Original (Academics & Sports) at the time of interview.
- Note: Merit List will be prepared for those candidates only who have given complete entrance test.
- (14) Other Important Instructions:
- (a) The merit list of Christian minority candidates will be generated separately.
- (b) B.P.Ed. is a professional course and the nature of the course includes a chance for injury, accident including fatal one. Therefore, students admitted to B.P.Ed course will have to submit an affidavit on 100/-non- judicial stamp paper, stating that they are aware of the risk factors involved in the course and the college will not be responsible for any compensation in the event of any accident including fatal one during the course of study within or outside of the college campus.
- (c) abide by them as a precondition for admission to B.P.Ed course. 75% attendance in all curricular and co-curricular activities in all the semesters is a must for all candidates. Development of exemplary levels of discipline and conduct of the teacher trainees is the basic objective and requirement of this course. All selected candidates are required to sign a bond comprising of rules and regulations and are required to
- (d) Graduates of Universities other than the University of Lucknow are required to submit migration certificate latest by 5 October, 2024, failing which their admission shall stand cancelled.
- (e) There is no Hostel facility for Girl students. They will have to make their own arrangements for their stay outside the College premises.
- (f) B.P.Ed is a professional course and requires high level of physical workouts and vigorous training. Married girls are eligible for admission. If she gets pregnant during the course including examinations, she will have to discontinue her studies. Therefore, it will be compulsory for the married women candidates to sign an undertaking that they will discontinue the course at once if they get pregnant during the course of study, due to the risk to life (because of rigorous training during the course). In case of hiding the fact and any casualty arising out of it the College authorities will not be responsible at all.
- (g) Camping is a part of B.P.Ed curriculum and examination system. A camping fee of 8000/- will be charged and it will be spent on actual expenditure basis. The amount shall be paid by all students admitted in the academic session 2024-2026 on or before 10th January, 2025 through a bank draft payable at Lucknow in favour of “Principal, Lucknow Christian Degree College, Lucknow”.
- (h) Candidates are required to submit their original Blood- Group Certificate and a copy of Adhar at the time of Admission.
How To Fill Online Application Form- [stage-1]
- Step 1: Registration

(i): Applicants have to retain a printout of their application form which will be needed later on.
Categories And Privilege Marks
Candidates of the following categories (except category No.1) are eligible for privilege marks. A candidate can take advantage of only one category. No candidate shall be automatically eligible for any category or privilege. Candidates claiming any of the following privileges must submit a self attested photocopy of the certificates on the basis of which the privilege is claimed at the time of submission of the Application Form. No certificate for claiming privilege shall be accepted afterwards.
Candidates will be disqualified for claiming privilege falsely.
- Category- 1 GENERAL:
- A candidate who does not fall under any of the categories from No. 2 to 5 should write his category as No. 1 (General).
- Category- 2 Christian Candidates / Lcc (6 Units) Employee’s Ward/ Blind / Physically Challenged (Divyang):
- (2a) CHRISTIAN CANDIDATES
The Merit List of the Christian Candidates will be generated separately. In order to be considered for admission under this category the applicant must submit attested photocopies of the following at the time of submitting his/her application form
- Baptism Certificate.
- Church Membership Certificate from the pastor of the Church of which he/she is a member.
- It will be mandatory for the Christian student to take the membership of Student Christian Movement (SCM) at the time of admission.
- (2b) LCC EMPLOYEE’S WARD
Sons, grandsons or spouses of the LCC staff (all the 6 units) and those of former members of staff who had put in at least five years of continuous service in the college will be admitted without competing with other candidates in merit, provided they have minimum eligibility marks. The application forms of such candidates should be endorsed by the Principal of the concerned unit and verified by the Manager, LCC.
- (2c) BLIND/ PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED
Blind or physically challenged candidates with 40 % or more disability, certified by the Chief Medical Officer and verified by the admission committee, may be admitted, provided they have minimum eligibility marks.
- Category – 3 MISCELLANEOUS:
Candidates, who belong to one of the following sub-categories will be given advantage of 5% of the marks scored in the Intermediate Exam, provided they submit requisite authenticated certificates at the time of submission of Application Form.
- (3a) CHILDREN OF ALUMNI / TEACHERS/ DEFENCE PERSONNEL
Children of College Alumni (who are registered as life members), defence personnel, teachers of Lucknow University and its associate degree colleges, are eligible for this privilege. However, for claiming this privilege, they should submit a certificate from the appropriate authority of the concerned Institutions / Organizations.
- (3b) NCC
Candidates who have received ‘B’ certificate of the National Cadet Corps,
are eligible for this privilege.
- (3c) OTHER BACKWARD CLASSES / GRAND CHILDREN OF FREEDOM FIGHTERS:
Other Backward Classes candidates should submit an authenticated certificate from a statutory magistrate not below the rank of Tehsildar. Grand children of freedom-fighters should submit a certificate from a statutory magistrate not below the rank of Sub. Divisional Magistrate to the effect that they are Children/ Grand children of a freedom-fighter duly certified by the government.
- (3d) LCIC/CHSS STUDENTS:
Candidates having passed the Intermediate Examination from Lucknow Christian Intermediate College (LCIC) or Centennial Higher Secondary School (CHSS), should submit a character certificate from their Principal, to be considered under this category.
- Category – 4 SCHEDULED CASTE / SCHEDULED TRIBE (SC/ST) :
SC/ST candidates must submit a certificate from a District Magistrate / Tehsildar or District Harijan Welfare Officer, to claim privilege under this category. Such candidates will be given a weightage of 10% of the marks scored in Intermediate Exam.
- Category – 5 FOREIGN STUDENTS:
The admission of foreign candidates shall be at the discretion of the Principal of the college, provided they come through their Embassy /Consulate.

The candidates who have represented any of the above mentioned game at junior State or District in SGFI or in their concerned Associations can apply for the same. They will have to appear before the committee constituted by the Principal for verification of their Games Certificates and for a skill test to evaluate their playing ability.
On the recommendations of the said committee they will be allowed to avail admission under this quota. There is no compulsion for filling the sports quota seats. If suitable candidates are not available for the seats under Sports Quota then these seats will be made available to the candidates of other categories.
