ADMISSION TO B.A., B.Com. and B.Sc. (Bio. & Maths) Classes
Guidelines for under graduate 4 year programme (B.A. & B.Sc.) as per New Education Policy (NEP)
- The student will have to choose Major 1, Major 2, one minor and one co- curricular subject.
- The subject that has been chosen as major subject cannot be chosen as minor subject.
COURSES OF STUDY
(1) Bachelor of Arts (B.A.):
Candidates applying for admission to B.A.- I must select one of the Groups (1-10) and then choose THREE subjects taking one each from columns A, B, and C of the same group. Subjects will be allotted based on merit and availability of seats.

*Students opting for the subjects Statistics and Mathematics will be offered the combination of Economics, Statistics and Mathematics. Permissible only for those candidates who have passed Intermediate with mathematics as a subject.
Note:
- (i) An additional fee of Rs. 8000/- along with the prescribed fees, shall be charged each year at the time of admission from the students who will opt for Economics, Mathematics and Statistics group.
- (ii) The following subjects cannot be offered together according to the rules of the University of Lucknow
- (a) History along with Ancient Indian History
- (b) Any Three literature
- (iii) A candidate admitted to one of the above groups shall study all the three subjects of the group in semester I, II, III and IV. In semester V, VI, he / she shall choose for study two subjects out of the three studied in previous semesters. The subject combinations offered at Lucknow Christian College are subject to change by the University of Lucknow.
(2) Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.):
Students have to study for the following papers in semester 1.

Candidates applying for admission to B.Sc. Semester-1 must select one of the following Groups (1-5).

Note:
- (i) A candidate admitted to one of the above groups shall study all the three subjects of the group in Semester I, II, III & IV.
- (ii) A candidate admitted to one of the above groups shall study all the three subjects of the group in semester I, II, III and IV. (student will have to choose (Major 1, Major 2, & Minor). In semester V, VI, he/she shall study two subjects (Major 1 & Major 2) out of the three studied in previous semesters. In semester VII & VIll he/she shall study one subject (Major 1) out of the two subject studied in semester V & VI.
- (iii) There are limited seats for the Subject "Computer Science" and the selection will be made on the basis of merit.
